How does the skin analysis and advisory work?

To start, we’ll ask a few questions about your skin type, your skin’s needs and your skincare goals. Don’t worry: if you’re not sure what skin type you have, we’ll find out in just a few clicks.
You can take and upload a selfie using your smartphone, tablet or laptop. This ensures the product recommendations are tailored specifically to you.
Any skin concerns are illustrated and their possible causes explained. For example, hyperpigmentation, wrinkles and dark circles under the eyes.
With the help of AI-powered analysis, you’ll receive your personal product recommendations, perfectly tailored to your skin’s needs. You can also have the product recommendations conveniently sent to you by email.

How long does the analysis take?

The skin analysis takes between 1 and 2 minutes.

How accurate is the analysis?

Our AI-powered skin analysis helps to assess your skin type and your skin’s individual needs. Based on this, you will receive suitable skincare recommendations for your personal routine. Louis Widmer products are developed with a strong focus on skin compatibility and are also suitable for sensitive skin. When selecting ingredients, particular emphasis is placed on quality, efficacy and high tolerability.

Please note that every skin reacts individually. Therefore, despite careful development, intolerances to individual ingredients cannot be completely ruled out.

Does the analysis replace a dermatological consultation?

No. The AI-powered skin analysis serves as a digital aid to better assess your skin type and the individual needs of your skin, and to provide you with suitable skincare recommendations for your personal routine. It does not constitute a medical diagnosis and is not a substitute for a dermatological consultation. In the event of persistent skin problems, severe irritation, allergic reactions or noticeable skin changes, we recommend consulting a dermatologist.

What requirements should my photo meet?

For the best possible analysis result, your face should be clearly visible and evenly lit. Please remove your glasses, pull your hair back from your face, look directly into the camera and maintain a neutral facial expression. Also, avoid strong shadows, backlighting or filters.

How is my photo processed?

When you upload a selfie, the image will be used to provide more precise recommendations that may be of interest to you. The image is deleted after being analysed.
