Effect
- LIFTONIN®-QI, obtained from the “mushroom of immortality” (reishi), protects the skin from epigenetic stress, firms the facial contours and ensures a visibly smoother and more even complexion. The active ingredient provides a noticeable lifting effect, promotes skin density and strengthens the skin's natural barrier.
- Gravityl™ is obtained through marine biotechnology from the red macroalgae Gigartina Stellata and provides a defined chin line. The active ingredient has been proven to improve skin firmness and elasticity, visibly reduce skin sagging and decrease the volume of double chins. It promotes collagen production and strengthens the skin structure.
- Adeplump is extracted from the flower of the medicinal plant Arnica montana and plumps up the skin from the inside out by stimulating the formation and growth of skin cells. The active ingredient supports the natural build-up of volume and makes lips, cheeks and fine lines appear visibly fuller, smoother and more elastic. How does epigenetics influence the skin?
Ageing processes are influenced by various biological mechanisms. One of these is epigenetic changes. Put simply, they act as molecular switches, determining which genes are expressed. The DNA itself is not changed.
In the skin, epigenetic mechanisms are involved in central processes such as renewal, protection and barrier function. With increasing age, this regulation becomes less precise – the skin’s “youth programme” no longer runs at full speed.
